MYSTICS, PSYCHICS, GHOSTS AND LIFE AFTER DEATH

The greastest questions of all!!!!

I have recently had a few life altering experiences that have led me to question the meaning of my existence in this universe. The first of these was the birth of my first child on Dec 2, 1997. At my second visit to the doctor, they were unable to find the heartbeat of the fetus, and told me that it had probably died in utero. Thankfully they were wrong, and my son turns 14 months old this week. About the time I was gleefully announcing my pregnancy to my family members, my older sister (who has been battling brain cancer for six years) started experiencing symptoms, indicating a return of this disease we all thought she had beaten. The news was the worst we could hope for. He cancer had returned and she wages her battle to this day. Shortly after my son was born, my family experienced the death of a close family memeber; this being my husband's grandmother who had sat in my living room, no more than a week before her demise. I'm not sure what triggered it, but I suddenly found myself obsessed with the questions that surround our departure from this life. Maybe it was the birth and death so close together that made me ponder the question of mortality. Whatever the reason may be, I would like to use this space to share with you, some of the findings that eased my mind, and made me believe that there is so much more to this world than what we can see. Hope you enjoy this site.

TO IGNORE THE POSSIBILITIES IS UNSCIENTIFIC
Lucky me, In my search for answers, I managed to find myself a doctor who had no spiritual beliefs and tried (while drowning me in various medications) to tell me that my quest for knowledge was merely the result of post-partum-depression. Our doctor-patient conversations ended up being heated debates about the existence of life beyond the grave. In my altered state of mind, I almost gave up my search and settled for the depressing reality that I will "worm food" for eternity...or until the worms get full anyway. I thank god I had access to the internet at that time. It was through this tool, that I got to see that many members of the scientific and medical communities have accepted the existence of an afterlife. When you are faced with the fact that we did not know of the existence of micro-organisms until recent years, how could you dismiss an idea, that we are only on the ground level of exploring. To do so, one has to possess a certain level of ignorance.

WHAT IS REAL AND WHAT IS NOT...THE MYSTICS AND PSYCHICS
Unfortunatley, nobody can prove whether the reading you get from a 1-900 number is the real thing or not....I have to wonder. I can only relate my own personal experience in this department. I was working in a jewellery store in West Edmonton Mall, when I noticed a customer handling a necklace that consisted of gold bars and pearls. Upon approaching her, she told me that the pearl was her element and that gold was her husbands. I asked her how she knew and she told me "Well I can tell you that your birthday is on Feb 6, 1967 at 6:00AM. She was right. This is the first time that I was ever faced with something so strange. I felt my body go numb. She left me her card and it turns out that she is a tarot instructor from BC. Please note that I was new to Edmonton, and did not know very many people. There is NO WAY she could have known this, as no one else did. To add more to this mystery, 11 years later I was telling this story to my present day mother in law. Her face went pale and to my amazment, she took the card of the same person out of her wallet. They had met years earlier at her office in Ottawa, Ontario. Though I am still skeptical about many of the ads I see, this one event led me to become a believer in some form of a mental link between our minds.
